Agnus Machinarum (2025)
instrumentation: SSAATTBB Choir
duration: 6’30’’
what: choir and electronics
date of composition: July 2025
written for: Latvian Radio Choir

program note: A liturgical text reframed for the machine age: the "Lamb of God" becomes Agnus Machinarum, the eight-part choir set against a tape part that mechanises and haunts the sacred. The work stages the collision of human voice and machine, ritual and recording, in dense vocal counterpoint shadowed by its electronic double.
