program note: In the deepest ocean, some water creatures live without light and oxygen. What do they listen to? An immersive fixed-media piece deploying Dolby Surround to submerge the listener in a strange, aquatic sound-world. Image and spatialised sound conjure uncanny underwater "fishes," the surround field becoming an environment rather than a stage.
