program note: Drawing on Bakhtin's notion of the carnivalesque, this mixed-quartet suite stages a sonic world in which hierarchy is suspended and every voice speaks with equal right. The MIDI keyboard triggers audio-video fragments that meet flute, percussion and cello not as backdrop but as autonomous interlocutors, a mésalliance of high and low, recorded and live, sense and nonsense, held in dialogue without ever resolving into a single perspective. Found everyday materials, treated as small audio-visual "poetries," are crowned and uncrowned in turn, their roles inverted and exchanged. Following the digital-counterpoint method, the piece embraces the carnival's joyful relativity, a polyphony of media and instruments where what is celebrated is not any fixed order but the very process of change.
première: 24th July 2026 | KlexosLab Festival, Plasencia (ES)
